Breakfast Club and After School Childcare

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club is managed by the school and staffed by school staff members who provide good quality child care.

We are open every weekday during term time, excluding Inset days, from 8.00am – 8.30am. Your child(ren) can be dropped off at any time between these times.  Parents must remain with their child until they have been admitted via a member of the Breakfast Club team.

Breakfast Club has a fixed cost of £2.00 which includes breakfast and activities. The cost does not change depending on the time you arrive.   Please see below for Payments Information.

The Breakfast Club provides an excellent start to the school day aiming to:

Provide a healthy nutritious start to the day

Help children to be alert and ready to learn

Encourage children to mix with their friends

Improve attendance and performance throughout the day

Reassure parents that their child is safe when dropped off in the morning

After School Childcare

We provide care and offer a range of play opportunities for children aged 4-11 years after school hours. The After School Club is run by the school and are covered by their OFSTED school inspection. The cost of After School Club is £6 per session per child.

After School Club starts at 3:10pm and children will be collected from class. A snack will be served between 3.45pm and 4:15pm. Afterschool club finishes at 5:25pm, but parents can collect children any time before 5:25pm.

Please ensure you are prompt for 5.25pm pick up.  There will now be a late penalty payment for late pickups whatever the reason which will be £10 per every 15 minutes.

You can prebook on SIMs Pay 360 two weeks in advance, up until midnight on the Sunday before the required week of the date you need.

Should your child be unable to attend a paid session, unfortunately we will be unable to offer a refund. If you choose to cancel your child's session during the school day please collect your child from After School Club, this is due to our safeguarding and child protection regulations.  You do not need to contact the office.

Our aims are to:

Provide opportunities for children through play, to make choices, find solutions to problems and develop play at their own pace.

Create a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere in which children develop social skills and self esteem.

Develop opportunities for adults to listen to children and respect their views, opinions and concerns.

Respond to children's needs.

Provide opportunities for children to explore and understand the wider world, have a positive image of themselves and promote respect for different cultural and social backgrounds.

Ensure the health, safety and well-being of the children in our care at all times.

Booking and Payments Information

Payments for both these clubs should be made through the following link: https://www.sims-pay.co.uk/Home

A payment portal will be open up two weeks before the week you need care and it will close on Sunday evening at midnight before the week you need it and we advise Parents and Carers to book as soon as you know your requirements and not to leave it to the Sunday evening as it a case of first come, first served.  It also may be helpful to set a reminder on your phone

If you have an emergency/unforseen situation where you require use either of the clubs, please call to the office and we will endeavour to meet your needs.
